Write on the pad with your finger or stylus, then tap Convert. Neat print works best. If recognition is unavailable, type the text instead — nothing is faked.
Capture
One button, any kind of input. Everything lands on the board as a card or note.
Job measure — painting estimate
Type wall lengths separated by commas. Math shown on the card: 1 coat primer, 2 coats paint, 350 sq ft per gallon. Paint $40/gal, primer $25/gal. Change the numbers on the card if your prices differ.
Versions
Save the board on demand. Restore any version. Replay steps through versions one at a time so you can watch the idea happen.
Export
Everything exports in formats that open without this app. The .md groups notes by color/type, lists tasks, outlines the mindmap, and includes job cards.
Send to Max
This downloads two files: the board (.json) and a readable summary (.md). Those files are what you send to Max — attach them in chat. Max reads them, adds notes or a mindmap pass, and sends a board file back. Import that file here and anything new glows so you can see exactly what changed. No account, no server — the file is the sharing.
Add an idea (proposal)
Ideas live in the Ideas layer as proposals — not permanent until accepted. No AI runs inside this page: this is your own typed or pasted suggestion, or one Max sent back in a board file. Accepting it turns it into a permanent note.
What this version can't do — yet
Nothing here is faked or simulated. If a feature is listed below, it is left out on purpose, with the reason. Everything else on the toolbar works as labeled.
Mindmap picture export. The mindmap exports as an outline in the .md file, not as a picture yet. Reason: a picture renderer needs a real phone test before it can be trusted, and v1 only ships verified paths.
Search across saved versions. Search covers the current board's notes only. Reason: versions are snapshots, and cross-version search needs an index v1 does not build.
Project .zip export. Not built. Reason: it would need a library download, and v1 stays offline-first. The JSON + .md bundle from Send to Max covers the same content.
Handwriting recognition on a real phone — untested. The Convert button loads its recognition library from the internet one time, then works on the device. That download path has not been tested on a phone yet. If it is offline or the load fails, the app says so plainly and typed text stays the path. A conversion is never faked.
Real touch behavior — untested. Pinch, pan, and stylus drawing were tested with simulated pointer events only, not on a phone yet. If a gesture feels wrong on your phone, say which one and it gets fixed.
Very large photos or voice memos may not autosave. The board autosaves to the browser's local storage, which has a size limit (around 5 MB). If it fills up, the live board still works and exports still work, but a reload may lose the newest attachments. Keep big files in the JSON export.
No live AI inside this page, ever. The Ideas layer holds proposals you type or paste, or that Max sends back in a board file. No model runs here, offline or online.
No live collaboration. Sharing is the board file: Send to Max, Max sends one back, new items glow on import. No server, no accounts.
No LIDAR room measurement. Your phone has no LIDAR sensor (that is iPhone Pro hardware). Job measurement stays manual entry plus photos, which is real.
No palm or fist wipe gesture. Capacitive touch cannot reliably tell a palm from a stylus on this phone. The eraser tool and Undo do that job instead.
Eraser works one stroke per tap. Drag-erase is not built, so a stray drag can never wipe a sketch by accident.
The viewer export is read-only. The interactive HTML file lets you zoom, pan, and switch layers, but not edit. Editing happens in this app.
